Telugu Panchatantra Stories - Lion and Rabbit




Story:

Once Upon a time there was a ferocious lion in a forest, which killed all the animals without a cause. He just killed for pleasure. Seeing this, the animals were not happy with the situation. The animals gathered and decided to approach the lion with the offer that they would send one animal to him every day and he should stop killing them without a cause. The lion agreed to this. So every day it was turn of one of the animals.
One day, it was the turn of a rabbit. All the animals bid farewell to the rabbit with heavy hearts. The rabbit was walking very slowly and thinking of some way to get rid of the cruel lion forever.
In the mean while the lion was getting angry on not seeing any animal at the cave and decide to kill all animals the next day.
The rabbit then went to the Lion of the cave, it was already very late. The lion was angry at him because of the delay. When he saw a small rabbit coming towards him, he became angrier. But the clever rabbit was calm and slowly told the Lion that it was not his fault.
The rabbit said “I am extremely sorry for the delay. A group of rabbits were coming for you but on the way, an angry lion attacked them and ate all the rabbits. Somehow he escaped to reach safely. He said that he is the real king of jungle and wants to teach you a lesson”.
After listening to the rabbit, the lion reacted angrily and asked to be taken to the location of the other lion. The clever rabbit agreed and asked the lion to follow him. The rabbit took the lion towards a deep well filled with water. By showing the well the rabbit said “That lion lives inside this well. You can check yourself”.
By seeing into the well, he saw his own reflection in the well and thought it to be another lion. With that the lion became so enraged and jumped into the deep well to attack the other lion and kill it but lost its life in the well.
The clever rabbit saved the forest and all the animals became very happy to hear the news.

Moral of the Story:

“By applying the right tactics, even a bigger enemy can be defeated. Intelligence wins over might”

Telugu Panchatantra Stories - Crow and Snake



Story:

Once Upon a time there was a crow that lived in a tree. Nearer to that tree there was a hole, where a big snake was lived, which kept eating up all the eggs of the crow, when mother crow went out.
The crow was very unhappy. But the crow didn’t want to leave the tree. Finally the crow knows that the snake was eating all her eggs. The crow thinks a plan to get rid of the vicious snake.
Next day, the crow flew towards the riverside where the king’s daughters were taking bath leaving behind on the bank their clothes and jewelry. King’s soldiers were standing little away from the bank. The crow flew towards the jewelry and took one golden necklace. The king’s daughters saw this and call the soldiers to catch the crow. The king’s soldiers saw the flying crow with golden necklace and they followed the crow to get the necklace back.
The crow flew slowly and reached the tree where the snake was lived. When the soldiers were seeing the crow, it drops the necklace inside the snake’s hole. The soldiers tried to take out the necklace from the snake’s hole, the snake came out. They killed the snake with their clubs and took the necklace away.  There after the crow lived in peace with her children happily ever after.

Moral of the story:

“Don’t run away from your problems, stay on, face them and overcome them”

Story of the Lion and Mouse in Telugu



Story:
It was a hot summer day. A lion was sitting under the shade of a big tree and in some time got a sleep. Nearby that tree, there was a hole, in which there lived a mouse. When the lion was sleeping, the mouse came out of the hole and saw him asleep.
The mouse started playing on it. The lion was disturbed and arose from his sleep. The lion caught up the mouse in his storing paw and tried to crush up to death. Then the mouse requests the lion to leave him and promised the lion that it would help when it needed. The lion laughed at it and leave the mouse.
After few days, the lion was caught in a net. It roared and try to escape from the net. The mouse heared the lion's roaring and came there. Immediately, it set to work and started cutting the net with its teeth. The Lion escaped from the net and thanked the mouse for its help.
Moral:
The moral of the story is "Little friends may prove as great friends and mercy never goes unrewarded'

Rabbit, Pond and Moon God Moral Story in Telugu


Story of Rabbit, Pond and Moon God

Story:
Once upon a time there was a herd of elephants, lived in a forest. Suddenly all the sources of water in the forest had dried up as there were no rains for many years. All the animals and birds faced the shortage of water and food. All the elephants in the forest approached their king and explained there problem. The elephant king think over the problem and said "There was a pond in the forest which was always full of water as it is connected to an underground source. Let us all shift to that place".
The entire herd started for that place. Their joy knew no bounds as they sighted the pond. Within seconds the pond was occupied by the elephants. The elephants were roamed around the pond and ate the branches of the trees around the pond. Because of all this the hundreds of rabbits which are lived in a underground burrows around the pond were crushed to death under the feet of elephants. The rabbits got worried about the situation and they gathered together to discuss the ways to save themselves from the herd of elephants.
They asked their leader to find some solution. The leader of the rabbits thought a plan and went to the elephant king. It was a full moon light. The rabbit said that he was the messenger of the moon god. He said that the moon was the god of the pond and he was not happy with the elephants. But the elephant king did not believe what the rabbit said. He asked the rabbit "where is the moon god ?". Then the rabbit asked him to come alone and took him to the pond. The rabbit showed the reflection of the moon in the pond to the elephant king. By seeing moon in the pond elephant king bent on his knees and raised his trunk to salute the moon god. He believed the rabbit and promised to the rabbit that he would never enter that pond and left with his entire herd.
Moral:
The moral of the story is "Sometimes a little creativity can solve a big Problem"
